

The Client
Otsuka America Pharmaceutical Inc., part of the Otsuka group of companies, focuses on a diverse portfolio of products in neuroscience, oncology and cardio-renal and seeks to deliver efficient, effective medicines, that offer the best value to customers.
The Situation
Otsuka America Pharmaceutical needed to rapidly build and launch a consumer-facing marketing site for the brand, Jynarque. As Otsuka America Pharmaceutical supports a variety of brands, the company needed to develop reusable components for shared codebase that could be reused on other brand sites as well.
The Challenge
Otsuka America Pharmaceutical engaged EPAM to help build its first brand site using Drupal. This would require Otsuka’s various stakeholders and vendors to develop and adopt new workflows and processes.
The Solution
Working with EPAM, Otsuka America Pharmaceutical deployed Acquia Cloud Site Factory to support a multisite environment for the company’s many brands. EPAM also leveraged Acquia Lightning as a starting point for the site build. With Acquia Lightning, developers and site builders did not have to install or configure multiple contrib modules for extending Drupal's out-of-the-box basic content types; nor did they have to spend a lot of time configuring an editorial review workflow.
The Results
This approach enabled Otsuka to execute a smooth launch process to deliver a responsive site across mobile, tablet and desktop. Additionally, a modern UX approach to content navigation has already improved page views on www.jynarque.com.
