Rudy Chang is Vice President, Marketing and Digital Platforms for IBM. He has strategic responsibility of the platforms, systems and data, that power the transformation and delivery of IBM’s client experience. His teams enable thousands of IBM’s sales and marketing professionals to plan, execute, and optimize digital and offline marketing. He also leads the Content Strategy function, which helps IBM use data-driven and scalable methods to; plan, create and distribute useful, usable content across apps, devices and channels.
He is an evangelist of user-centric design-thinking and agile development to accelerate innovation and promote the adoption of technologies at enterprise-scale.
Rudy joined IBM in January of 2015. Prior to that, he spent 13 years at Pitney Bowes in several senior roles, with the most recent as VP & General Manager of eCommerce. In that role he spearheaded all aspects of the company’s global digital presence and digital transformation in 40 markets including; strategy, eCommerce, online brand, IT governance, user experience, social and technology platforms. He also spearheaded the largest Software as a Service partnership in the company’s history between Pitney Bowes and PayPal, that enabled millions of PayPal users to seamlessly and securely print US Postal Service shipping labels within their eBay auction experience.
Rudy holds a BS in Engineering and Architecture from Princeton University and a MBA from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
He is a board member of local Connecticut chapter of the American Marketing Association. He enjoys pole vaulting, hockey, “CrossFitting” and cooking. Rudy lives in Ridgefield, CT with his wife, 3 sons and 3 rescued hound dogs.
